RFT’s Movie Cartoon # 6.1 – Forrest Gump

I’m not a smart man… but I know what love is.

I recently watched a couple of Robert Zemeckis movies, including today’s edition of the Movie Character Cartoons: Forrest Gump. It was the first time I saw this movie and I couldn’t believe that Forrest inspired Elvis Presley’s trademark dance moves. I’m all shook up.

I also love Zemeckis’ Back the the Future trilogy and Cast Away. I’m looking forward to The Walk that will come out later in 2015. Check out Man on Wire if you want to learn more about the high-wire walkers; tremendous documentary.

This One is a Bit Different

This is the first Movie Character Cartoon that has no colour. Although it looks minimal, it took me just as long (if not, longer) to develop and arrange. It was interesting to experiment with using only black and white and not drawing an actual body.

I’d like to try something like this again.

How to Improve and Fix Scanned Drawings in Photoshop

A couple of months ago, I was scanning my drawings and realized that they did not appear as nice on-screen as the original.
